Your computer might be keeping you up late at night.

If you stay up late and have trouble waking up in the morning you may be getting too much blue light at nighttime. What I mean by blue light is the kind of light that comes from the sun, the same kind of light comes from your monitor. There’s programs you can get for your OS that makes your monitor emit less blue light and more red light at appropriate times of day.

If you’re running a fairly new copy of Windows 10 it’s built into the os you can find it by clicking the search box and typing in “night light” if you have location services enabled you can set it to start at a certain time of day, or if you dont have location services just set a time for it to enable and a time for it to go back to normal.

If you’re running older versions of Windows like Windows 7 there’s a program you can download for free called F.lux.

If you’re running Linux there’s a program called Redshift, which can be found via your Linux distributions package manager. There’s also a GTK version of the program, which you can install which can make it easier to configure.

Another thing you can try is turning down the brightness on your monitor, modern monitors tend to be very bright, even non IPS ones, so try reducing the brightness at night. This is super easy to do on a laptop as it would be right in your OS. If you’re on a desktop you’ll have to play with the buttons on your monitor.

Julay's House

The day started out the same. Then Julay was cleaning her house because it was a boring sunday. She was cleaning the counters and found all kinds of dirt. She smelled the wash cloth and it smelled like ciggerette butts. She walked into the bathroom and it smelled like butt she thought to herself “Man, I’m not looking forward to this, someone mustve had a huge shit here last night”. She was wondering if it was some kind of ghost who farts their message from beyond of flatulance.

She decided to mop the hallway. Julay, having massive ADD didnt know what to do so she sang a tune got distracted and slipped and fell and hit her head. She had a fever dream about Christain Weston Chandler. She woke up screaming because in her dream Christain was coming towards her. She thought to herself “I never want to see that ever again” She was sitting in a puddle of urine because she peed herself from the terror of the image of Christain’s beady eyes.

She got up and starting cleaning the nicotine stained walls. She was a heavy smoker, smoked about 2 packs per day so she’d hot box her apartment quite a bit. She just cant get the nicotine off the walls.

All of a sudden a portal opened in the wall of her apartment with what looked like blue fire around it. On the other side the wall there was lush tropical vegitation and it looked bright and sunny even though outside the apartment it was a overcast rainy day. She walked through the portal even though she thought it wasnt such a great idea but she was curious what that image was(and also Julay wasnt the brightest bulb in the box). She walked through and the portal disapeared with a electrical bzzt. She didnt know where she was or how she’ll get back.
