Sometimes I have a huge amount of photos to deal with. So I decided to seperate them into different folders. I have about 500 photos or more. To make them easier to manage I am placing them into folders of 32.
Creating each folder using the mouse would be labour intensive so I use the mkdir command in the terminal instead to create more than one folder.
mkdir batch1 batch2 batch3 batch4 batch5 batch6 batch7 batch8 batch9 batch10
That creates 10 folders. Then I just place the photos in each folder. (of course they all arent going to fit in those 10 folders, that would only be 320 of them. Though it would be a massive pain to type 20 of those folders on one line. That's just an example. )
